Description: Application of statistics in the context of various fields; descriptive statistics, linear correlation and regression, probability, sampling, the Normal Distribution, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing. (Formerly MATH 281) Note: prerequisite Intermediate Algebra courses must have been taken within the last six years, placement tests within the last two years.
Prerequisite: MATH 099, MATH 098, MATH 098I, or MATH 099I within the last 6 years with a grade of 2.0 or above, or satisfactory placement test score.
