Description: First in a two quarter sequence of algebra and calculus focusing on applications in business and economics; functions, including exponential and logarithmic and their graphs; financial formulas, systems of equations, linear programming. Requires use of a graphing calculator. (Formerly MATH 156)
Prerequisite: MATH 099 or MATH 099I within the last 6 years with a grade of 2.0 or above or satisfactory placement.
