Description: MATH&141: Using numeric, analytic and graphical methods, linear, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions are studied. A graphing calculator is required (TI demonstrated). (Formerly MATH 119)
MATH 099: Second course in the sequence of Elementary Algebra and Intermediate Algebra. 3 Cr option only offered as part of an IMATH course (formerly Math 99I). Graphing linear and quadratic functions; systems of equations; rational expressions; radical expressions and rational exponents. A scientific calculator is required.
IMATH008: (8-credit Integrated Course: MATH 099I, MATH& 141)
Prerequisites:* MATH&141: MATH 099 within the last 6 years with a grade of 2.5 or above, satisfactory placement test score, or co-enrollment in MATH 099 3 cr IMATH option.
MATH 099: MATH 094 or MATH 098 (formerly Math 98I) within the last 6 years with a 2.0 or above or satisfactory placement test score. 3 Cr IMATH option: MATH 094 with a grade of 3.5 or above within the last 2 years or MATH 099 with a grade of 2.0 or above within the last 2 years or satisfactory placement test score.
